CEZ Distribution Bulgaria operates and maintains the electricity distribution network on the territory of the city of Sofiaand Sofia, Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Plevenand Lovech districts.

High-voltage networks (HV):The electricity network 110кV of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria is of distributive function.It provides for the flexibility of the operating pattern and reserve opportunities.

Medium-voltagenetwork( MV): The MV network consists mainly of direct terminals from110kv/MV switchgears.The MV network,supplied by of a given substation functions independently of the other. The boundaries of the regions, supplied by the individual substations may be adjusted within limits, when necessary.

Key data of the MV cable network:
The  total length of the network is 23 408 km, including 6 491km cable lines and 16 917km overhead lines.

Low-voltagenetwork/LV/: The low-voltage network is cable and overhead.In the town area where the load is higher it is predominantly cable, while in the out-of-town areas – mostly overhead.

The total length of the LV network is 34 494 km, including  9 212km cable lines and 25 282 km overhead lines.

Transformerunits: The low-voltage network is supplied by 14 669 transformer units which have 20 247 transformers.
